The dining experience at the hotel was fantastic, especially the bar food which was excellent and offered great value.
The room I stayed in had dim lighting as only the bedside lamps were functioning, which made it difficult to read or move around comfortably.

The room had an antique charm that added character, and the location was fairly peaceful, perfect for a quiet evening. It also gave a sense of nostalgia, making the stay somewhat memorable despite the drawbacks.
The hotel felt outdated, with marked and tired furniture that was less than comfortable. The bed was extremely hard, making sleep elusive, and there was a condensation issue that forced us to leave windows open on a chillier night. The limited food menu was another letdown — not what you'd expect for the price, especially without amenities like a pool or spa. To top it off, there's no lift, which is a hassle with luggage, particularly for older visitors.

Fantastic experience with helpful staff. They quickly moved me to a different room when I had issues in my first one, upgrading me without hesitation. Loved the big bed and the hydro massage bathtub. relaxing after a long day was a bliss. Breakfast exceeded my expectations with generous portions, ideal for starting the day right. The decor does feel a bit dated, which is something to consider, but the charm of the place kind of makes up for it. I did encounter some issues with room lighting. only the bedside lights were functional, leaving the room dim at times. the value for the price is undeniable, especially with the lovely food options available, particularly the bar meals.

the locashun of ostan loch altan is amazin, really close to stunning falcarragh beach n it's also near glenveagh national park. the staff were super friendly n helpful, made me feel right at home. i loved the food too, especially the tasty bar meals — a perfect way to end a long day. plus, there’s a nice pub right across the street which is awesome! overall, i had a blast during my stay!
but the room i got was kinda basic and could use a bit of an update, n the breakfast could have been better and more fresh options would have been nice.
